Aurie and the thoughts
Letting go of the resistance wasn't easy and Aurie really had to practice. So many things happened that triggered resistance in her. For example, there was this boy in her class, Paul. She was really angry with him because he always behaved in an impossible way; he was a real bully! Aurie noticed in the morning when she saw him for the first time that she was internally resisting and defending herself against him. After the conversation with Noah, she became very aware of this.
The next time she saw Paul in the dressing room, she consciously tried to feel the feeling he aroused in her. It was fear. This surprised her, because she wasn't afraid. She thought about it and realized that she wasn't afraid for herself, but rather afraid that he might hurt someone in the class again. She realized that she couldn't change this fact - Paul was the way he was. For whatever reason. She couldn't leave the situation either - he was in her class. When she thought about what she could do herself, she realized that she had never told him what she thought about his behavior. She had only ever silently directed her anger at him. Now she realized that that wasn't fair to him. He had certainly sensed her anger, even though she had never had a direct argument with him.
She gathered her courage and spoke to him. "Paul, you know, I have no idea whether you're a great guy or not. You often behave so badly towards others. I don't even know who you'll annoy next. And I don't understand why you do it." He paused and looked at her, irritated. "Uh, uh... Yess ... When they had to do a group project together in which he behaved normally towards her, she was able to talk to him and they came to a common conclusion on the task. She realised that this would not have been possible if she had continued to resist him.
"A good insight, Aurie." Noah stood in front of her and smiled at her. She hadn't even noticed that he had appeared, she had been so lost in her thoughts. Aurie beamed at him. She was still overwhelmed when he appeared and couldn't get enough of his yellow-orange robe and his charisma. The deep peace he radiated immediately spread throughout her entire body.
"Why are you here?" Aurie wanted to know. "I haven't been thinking about you that much and I don't have any questions for you right now."
"I know. But I want to talk to you about a very important topic," Noah replied, smiling and sitting down on the grass in front of Aurie.
"What happened?" Aurie asked, surprised. It had to be really important if Noah just showed up at her place. Aurie was excited.
“How would you describe the energy of your anger at Paul, Aurie?” asked Noah.
Of course, Noah had noticed this too. She simply couldn't hide anything from him.
"Very dark, heavy, great defensiveness, the strong wish that he wasn't there... Not very nice thoughts," Aurie murmured, somewhat ashamed.
“If you had painted a picture about this anger, would you hang it in your room?” Noah asked.
“Never!” cried Aurie in horror. “That would be a terrible sight!”
"And even though you find it so terrible, that's exactly what you sent out into the world, Aurie," Noah said calmly. "And you have that energy inside you all the time."
Aurie raised her eyebrow in surprise. "You have to explain that to me, Noah."
"Every thought is energy, Aurie. There are thoughts that radiate joy, love and harmony and that are for the benefit of all people. When you have these thoughts, you feel good yourself. But there are also thoughts that are very heavy and dark, that radiate envy and hate. This usually doesn't make you feel good yourself, especially if you carry these thoughts inside you for a long time. Because this heavy energy is then also inside you. Depending on which thoughts you have, you send this energy out into the world or to the person your thought is directed at. It's like a sound that you make and that others can hear. This is also how the energy of the thoughts is transmitted."
"Does that mean that I sent such terrible energy to poor Paul?" Aurie asked, frightened.
"Yes. That's what it means," Noah said gently. "What do you think it does to him when he's sent a lot of that energy?"
"I wouldn't feel comfortable at all if I were him. Do you then become so heavy and dark yourself and perhaps feel hatred for the others?" Aurie asked sympathetically.
"Yes. If you already have these feelings within yourself, then they will be strengthened by such energy."
"So, when someone is jealous or angry at others, feels disadvantaged, doesn't know why they are a great person, and so on, and so on, then the negative thoughts of others reinforce that?" asked Aurie.
"That's exactly how it is. This means that the energy that comes from these people is often all the more intense. If someone already has hatred within themselves and then receives thoughts of hatred and anger, then the hatred that they show to others will be all the stronger. Imagine it like a small fire. If you pour gasoline into it, it will burn even more and get bigger," explained Noah.
"I'm so sorry," said Aurie, concerned. "I didn't want anyone else to feel worse because of me. I didn't realize that."
“That’s why I’m talking to you about it.” Noah smiled at her.
"If everyone could see what their thoughts look like and what they trigger, they would be more careful with their thoughts. Your coexistence on earth would be much friendlier," said Noah.
"You said thoughts are like a sound that I send out and that others can hear. So can others hear my thoughts?" asked Aurie.
"There are people with very fine antennas. They can perceive the energy that your thoughts radiate and react to it. And clairvoyant people can see your thought images, yes."
"It must be very stressful for them if they are not surrounded by pleasant thoughts. Really scary," Aurie thought, and she shuddered at the thought.
"This is not only stressful for clairvoyants, Aurie, but for everyone. Think about it, you've experienced it before. You expressed your opinion in class and stood up for Anna because she was being treated unfairly by the others. But the others didn't like hearing your opinion and rejected it. No one told you directly. But remember how uncomfortable you felt. That was the energy that the thoughts of the others who rejected your opinion radiated."
"Oh yes. I felt terrible that day." Aurie thought back reluctantly. "But what can I do? I can't stop the others from having terrible thoughts."
"No, you can't. But you can stop yourself from having terrible thoughts. You've already learned one important thing about that, Aurie. Your light egg exercise. Do you remember?" asked Noah.
"Of course! I do the exercise every day before I go to school. And when I notice that I'm not feeling well or when I'm not feeling well, I do it consciously. And then I feel better, it's less strenuous," said Aurie.
"Very good, Aurie. It is very important that you pay attention to protecting your energy field. With the light egg you create an energetic protective shell that helps you to reduce negative thoughts' influence and rob you of your energy," explained Noah. "And conversely, it also helps others, because negative energy that comes from you stays with you."
“And now listen carefully, Aurie. Because what I am about to tell you is very important.”
Aurie could tell from Noah’s expression that he was very serious.
"If you want the world to change, then you have to take responsibility for your thoughts. Be aware that bad thoughts affect other people and yourself. And above all, that they can reinforce bad qualities in others. That's how wars start, Aurie. Directly between two people, but also between nations. With your thoughts, you create the energy that you send out into the world. And this energy nourishes others. And it will return to you. Energy is never lost." Noah looked at her seriously and at the same time kindly. "So always ask yourself: do I want to receive the energy that I send out? If not, then choose a different energy that you radiate out into the world."
Aurie thought about what Noah told her. "I would much rather contribute to peace, Noah. What can I do to send good energy into the world that will help others?"
"Observe your thoughts. Consider whether you would actually say them out loud. If others heard your thoughts, would you think them exactly the same? If a negative thought creeps into your head, immediately follow it with a positive thought. Consciously create a thought that is for the benefit of all people. Train your thoughts. Be mindful of them. They have enormous power. Be aware that the energy of every thought you radiate will also come back to you. Decide which energy you want to carry within you," Noah instructed.
Aurie was silent. She was trying to imagine a laughing Paul after she had sent him so many defensive thoughts. It wasn't easy.
"Noah, how do I do that when someone behaves like Paul? Then it's not easy not to have negative thoughts. I don't think what he's doing is right!"
"It is also absolutely right to show the other person the boundaries when he behaves like that. But be clear that you are rejecting his behavior, not the person himself. At his core he is like you - a spark of God. He is just not aware of it. That is what you are doing.
And then be aware - the energy you send him with your thoughts feeds him. Decide what you want to support. Do you want him to behave even more negatively? Or do you want to strengthen the spark of God in him, the light? What thoughts do you send him?" Noah asked her.
Aurie understood that. "I'd rather Paul realize that he can be a great guy too. When I worked with him in the group, he helped us reach a result."
"Then support him, Aurie. Send him thoughts that convey exactly this image and reinforce it. Then he has a chance of changing in this direction. And imagine, Aurie, that not only you, but everyone in your class sent him these thoughts at the same time, with the great Paul in focus. What do you think that would trigger in him?" she asked Noah.
"I think that at some point he would no longer be able to hurt anyone when he realizes that no one is against him. And especially when he feels that we see what he is actually capable of. Then he must believe it at some point," Aurie thought.
"Exactly." Noah nodded contentedly. "And now imagine, if this can work in a small circle, just in your class, what would happen if people supported each other with positive thoughts across national borders?"
"War would no longer be possible," said Aurie. "And people would treat each other much more lovingly. Wow! It's actually very simple!"
"Yes, actually very simple," Noah agreed. "Tell the other children about it, Aurie. It's so simple. Thoughts are very powerful. You children are very powerful when you consciously use your thoughts with this intention and with the desire to act for the good of all. Then the world will change. You have the strength and the ability to do this."
Aurie got goosebumps at the thought. And at the same time she felt great joy. She wanted to practice this in a practical way with Paul. And she wanted to discuss it with Julia, her friend, and maybe with Sandra too. She was interested in what would happen if she wasn't the only one who consciously sent different thoughts to Paul.
Noah grinned at her. "I knew you would understand what I wanted to teach you today. Practice well, dear Aurie. And be aware of your responsibility. Follow every negative thought with a good thought. Change the energy of your thoughts, then your energy and the energy in the world will change." Noah got up and walked past her again around the apple tree. And again she felt as if he had stroked her head, even though he hadn't touched her at all.
Aurie stayed sitting under her apple tree and practiced consciously thinking about a laughing Paul and how well he behaved in the group the other day. Then, when she felt resentment towards him again, she tried consciously to think about a butterfly meadow with lots of colorful flowers. She managed that very quickly. She didn't want to reinforce any more resentment towards Paul in her heart.
When she heard her grandmother calling, she jumped up and ran into the house.
